APBS (Aadhaar Payment Bridge System) Facility

It is the Aadhaar Linked Direct Benefit Transfer Facility, which enables the direct fund transfer of LPG Subsidy, Scholarships, Pensions and various Governments Benefits to the Beneficiary Customer’s Bank Account through the Aadhaar Card.

The main benefit of Aadhaar Payment Bridge (APB) System is that customer is not expected to open many bank accounts for getting benefits and subsidies of different social welfare schemes. Customer needs to open one account and send their Aadhaar number in the bank account to begin receiving benefits and subsidies directly into their Aadhaar enabled bank account.
